Meals of Hope - Feeding program

About Meals of Hope - Feeding program

Lunch at school does more than fill an empty belly - it helps fuel brains to learn!

Why is our feeding program so important?

Most of our students are from low-income families, some from single parent families and many walk long distances to school. Over 80% of our students do NOT bring a lunch to school because their family can only afford two (or fewer) meals a day for their families.

We strive to provide nutrition-packed lunches for our students. The feeding program has improved our students' overall health, as well as their school performance and test scores.

Every dollar makes a difference - $1 will feed 3 children for a week!

*We have the added benefit of employing to mothers to cook & serve our lunches. Therefore empowering two women to help care for their families.

Thank you for joining with us.
